I'd like to see this come alive again. Who will do it? Who IS doing it?

So delighted to see this, Liz!!! I am now in India, working with the School of Inspired Leadership in Gurgaon, India. One of their "pillars" is compassion. Also Pragati Leadership in Pune. I will ask them to join this conversation and post their work here from time to time.

I saw the 3 Interfaith Amigos and Jon Ramer at the Green Lake peace walk on New Years Eve. Amazon.com is my workplace in Seattle with worldwide associates and i find our employees to be incredibly talented and passionate. I would love to mobilize our compassionate efforts for our world and local communities.

Hello Compassion in the Workplace group! If you develop a simple strategy for this group, commit to using it at least a few times each month, and have a few active participants, we'll be happy to feature your group on the CAN home page.

Ideas to get started:
1. You might check out the other CAN group home pages for strategies to ignite the action.
2. Write a news headline from your profile and feature it on the home page. For example, you might ask "What is Compassion in the Workplace?" and invite people to join your group.
3. Do research on the web regarding compassion in the workplace and let CAN members know about it in a News headline.
4. Agree on one simple goal for the group, such as defining compassion in the work place and collecting real world examples. For example, Terry mentioned someone in BC who is the CEO for a utility (I think) that is known for having a compassionate workplace. How does he do it? You might link to an article about him in this group?

This is a very important topic that we would love to support. It's also a professional development opportunity. The people in this group might become thought leaders in this subject matter. Thanks!

Kind Regards,
PamKM
