Hi Deborah; Arriving around 3:15 would work, that is when the gathering music begins. The program itself is only about 30 minutes. The rest of the time allotted is for the reflective walk around the lake. ~Karen

the CAN site here says Greenlake Peace Walk from 3pm to 5pm. The Interfaith flyer says...starts at 3:30 for 2 hours. Which is it. I definitely want to be there...but don't want to miss this...but don't want to hang idle for 30 minutes…

Hi - I am writing to ask for your support in creating a compassionate world. When I started the Compassionate Action Network I was hoping that social networks could be part of how we activate the will and find a way to make just and lasting change. I am grateful that you joined this network and I sincerely hope that it has made some difference in your life and your community.

It was the action part of compassionate action that got my attention. So now I invite you to be part of taking another step forward together. I ask that you take two minutes to join the 10 Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities if you haven’t already.

We need 1,000 people to join by March 15 to have the Mayor and City Council follow through on their end. If you personally join the campaign and share or send this on to others we will take a big collective step forward in building our capacity to make change happen. This is not just another petition, what you do will make a difference. You can learn more about this here

You don’t need to be a Seattle resident to join this campaign, and this idea is spreading. Campaigns have started or are starting in Vancouver, BC, Bellingham, Bellevue, Issaquah, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and London.

If there ever was a time to stand together and affirm that what each of us does and does not do makes a difference it is now. I ask that you find the time to add your name to the growing list of people awakening compassion in our cities and our world. Join here now

You're probably right there. No matter how bad things get-- if you can maintain a strong center and stay happy in the moment-- money stuff doesn't matter.

Deborah - Thanks for your comments. I have a problem with my computer in Vermont. Hopefully I will get in repaired this week. Have a wonderful New Year. Thanks for all your support to my brother. I look forward to meeting you when I get down to Florida. I don't know when that will be just yet but Kenny will let you know.

Deborah - Thank you for being a ray of light for my brothers. tehy are both quite remarkable in the own ways. I am here in Killington, Vermont skiing for the winter. I will be down in Florida sometime in January. I look forward to meeting you. Although, you look very familiar. My picture was taken at my 60th birthday party in Falmouth, MA.

Hi, Deborah! Interesting place you have here. Just wanted you to know that it is unlikely that I will see you on New Year's Eve. Family plans have eclipsed the walk this year. Perhaps I'll see you during your visit here. Many blessings!

Hope you'll be able to stop in the shop and experience the whole feeling that surrounds our Buddha, who sits at the very heart of From Roehm With Love. We are at 326 on the Ave. Bye for now, J&B

I need to find the utube from comic Sarah? Silverstien who threated her parents and grandparents that if they didn't vote for Obama that she would stop visiting them and bringing the grandchildren. It was very funny.

I would like the warm weather but am grateful for living in the NW.
