I clicked and it directs me to your sight. I don't see anything on Charter sight. Do you have a direct link? Weird??

Global Tolerance shared this quote of yours: "My hope is to make this [the Charter] a tool that can be a part of households around the world. I appreciate being able to teach my young children (in a way that they enjoy) what is good and right. I also feel it is imperative to start with them as they are the beginnings of a future without violence, hunger, exploitation and war. . .

They didn't mention the Charter for children specifically, but I suggested that Karen incorporate it into the 12 Step Program that she is keen about. Do you have the actual language already? Why don't we send it to them before their meeting next week?

Erin,

Wanted to let you know that I have direct access to Karen now. She and Global Tolerance have taken notice of your idea, Charter for children, by posting part of the message I sent them earlier here
I had to laugh that the quote was attributed to this celibate nun!

I'll be in a videologue tomorrow morning with them, let me know if you have any messages or stories to forward. :)

Hi - I am writing to ask for your support in creating a compassionate world. When I started the Compassionate Action Network I was hoping that social networks could be part of how we activate the will and find a way to make just and lasting change. I am grateful that you joined this network and I sincerely hope that it has made some difference in your life and your community.

It was the action part of compassionate action that got my attention. So now I invite you to be part of taking another step forward together. I ask that you take two minutes to join the 10 Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities if you haven’t already.

We need 1,000 people to join by March 15 to have the Mayor and City Council follow through on their end. If you personally join the campaign and share or send this on to others we will take a big collective step forward in building our capacity to make change happen. This is not just another petition, what you do will make a difference. You can learn more about this here

You don’t need to be a Seattle resident to join this campaign, and this idea is spreading. Campaigns have started or are starting in Vancouver, BC, Bellingham, Bellevue, Issaquah, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and London.

If there ever was a time to stand together and affirm that what each of us does and does not do makes a difference it is now. I ask that you find the time to add your name to the growing list of people awakening compassion in our cities and our world. Join here now
