Hi - I am writing to ask for your support in creating a compassionate world. When I started the Compassionate Action Network I was hoping that social networks could be part of how we activate the will and find a way to make just and lasting change. I am grateful that you joined this network and I sincerely hope that it has made some difference in your life and your community.

It was the action part of compassionate action that got my attention. So now I invite you to be part of taking another step forward together. I ask that you take two minutes to join the 10 Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities if you haven’t already.

We need 1,000 people to join by March 15 to have the Mayor and City Council follow through on their end. If you personally join the campaign and share or send this on to others we will take a big collective step forward in building our capacity to make change happen. This is not just another petition, what you do will make a difference. You can learn more about this here

You don’t need to be a Seattle resident to join this campaign, and this idea is spreading. Campaigns have started or are starting in Vancouver, BC, Bellingham, Bellevue, Issaquah, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and London.

If there ever was a time to stand together and affirm that what each of us does and does not do makes a difference it is now. I ask that you find the time to add your name to the growing list of people awakening compassion in our cities and our world. Join here now

Greetings John: Rev. Cheen suggested that I contact you about any needs you might have for set-up logistically for the Charter Launch. I can be available late afternoon as needed and I have a cargo van if that would be helpful. Please advise. My phone is 633-0989, cell 898-5168, and email: eddiegriffiths@comcast.net.

Hi John, Thank you again for all the work you put in to making the summit a success! You carried the ball and deserve a ton of credit and recognition, thanks! I would like to get as many sessions posted as discussions in the forum and then start inviting everyone from the summit in. What ya think?

Hello John!
This is a wonderful site that Jon has created. It's been a good day back in Corvallis, bearing my gift of hope and sharing with others the message of yesterday.
Go peacefully,
Shannon
