How can cultivating a caring attitude towards others be of any benefit to school teachers? Neuroscientists and psychologists now agree that training in mindfulness considerably reduces levels of stress. Recent research also suggests that the cultivation of empathy enhances not only one's own well-being, but also, in the case of teachers, students' motivation and learning. Participants and independent tests show results after just two weeks of applying these techniques. See More
